Music has always been a part of my life. Sometimes I use it in theatre work and sometimes I design sound.

has directed at various regional theatres, including Great Lakes Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Virginia Stage Company, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Merrimack Rep, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Clarence Brown Theatre, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Round House, The Studio, The Kennedy Center, Next Act, and Milwaukee Repertory Theater, where he was Associate Artistic Director for 6 years and has directed nearly 30 plays. He and his works have been honored with Helen Hayes nominations and awards and he was a Drama League of NY Director’s Project fellow.

Mr. Morgan has written and co-written a number of plays and adaptations. Against the Grain premieres at Danceworks in Milwaukee in Oct, 2018. The musical, No Greater Love, premiered at the Mother Lode Theatre in Butte, Montana (2017). UnSilent Night premiered at Next Act in Milwaukee (2016). Way Downriver has played at Alabama Shakespeare Festival (2014) and San Diego’s North Coast Rep (2016). A Rising Wind was filmed for MPTV (2011). Sounding the River played at Milwaukee Rep (2002). A Christmas Carol has played at Milwaukee Rep, Clarence Brown Theatre and several universities off and on for years.


As a teacher and guest artist, Mr. Morgan has worked at various universities and taught Master Classes in a variety of professional contexts in the USA and abroad. He toured India as an actor/director and has directed and taught in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. In 2019, he’ll be a Senior Fulbright Scholar in Sofia, Bulgaria. Mr. Morgan also works periodically as a Casting Partner for Cirque du Soleil, and is a member of SD&C, AEA and The Dramatists Guild. 

I’m a Casting Partner for Cirque. I help them look for Physical Actors and Clowns.

I’ve also helped lead general acting auditions for Cirque, and I teach workshops in Physical Theatre.
