Music has always been a part of my life. Sometimes I use it in theatre work and sometimes I design sound.

has directed at various regional theatres, including Great Lakes Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Virginia Stage Company, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Merrimack Rep, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Clarence Brown Theatre, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, Round House, The Studio, The Kennedy Center, Next Act, and Milwaukee Repertory Theater, where he was Associate Artistic Director for 6 years and has directed nearly 30 plays. He and his works have been honored with Helen Hayes nominations and awards and he was a Drama League of NY Director’s Project fellow.

Mr. Morgan has written various plays, including original work, cabaret shows and adaptations of Faulkner, Twain, Dickens and George M. Cohan. Way Downriver; William Faulkner’s ‘Old Man’ premiered at Alabama Shakespeare Festival in 2014 under the title Twenty Seven. The West Coast Premiere was in 2016 at North Coast Rep in San Diego. A Rising Wind (co-written with John Kishline) was filmed in 2011 for Milwaukee Public TV. A Christmas Carol (adapted with Joe Hanreddy), has been produced at Milwaukee Rep, Clarence Brown Theatre and Ball State University.

Mr. Morgan has worked as a teacher and guest artist at various graduate and undergraduate programs. He frequently conducts workshops and Master Classes. Internationally, he has toured India as an actor and director through the U.S. State Department, and has directed and taught in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. Mr. Morgan is a member of SD&C, an AEA actor, a Casting Partner for Cirque du Soleil, and he’s also on the roster of Fulbright Specialists.

I’m a Casting Partner for Cirque. I help them look for Physical Actors and Clowns.

I’ve also helped lead general acting auditions for Cirque, and I teach workshops in Physical Theatre.
